About Parkwood Management

Our Property Managers are experienced and Members or Associates of the IRPM. Parkwood Management Company has been a member of ARMA since its inception in 1992 and is strongly in favour of the regulation of Managing Agents. Our Complaints Mediation service is with The Property Ombudsman Ltd. Our Property Managers and Office Support Team have visited all properties under management as we believe this assists with their understanding of each block.


We appreciate that service charges are often misunderstood by flat owners and feel very strongly that the Directors of each Management Company should be ones to make the major decisions regarding the running their block. We understand that some Directors wish to take a more "hands on" role in the general management of their property and are quite happy to accommodate this.


We are fully conversant with current Health & Safety legislation and Fire Risk Requirements and can advise on the need for inspections and their frequency. We can also arrange implementation of any recommendations. We ensure that all contractors used hold current Liability Insurance and have a Safe Method Working Statement.


We provide monthly cash reconciliations for each Company and aim to be as transparent as possible. Each of our Flat Management Companies has their own bank account. Our Accounts Team is headed by a qualified ACCA accountant. Our charges are on a fixed fee basis not a percentage - with these fees subject to an increase annually in line with inflation. We do not usually charge additional fees for the management of major projects.


We have a good working relationship with a number of trusted surveyors and contractors but are more than happy to work with those who have an established relationship with individual properties where we take over the management.
